People come from all over to visit San Francisco because it’s one of the world’s greatest cities.

The architecture, the food, the entrepreneurial spirit, the rugger natural beauty all around. It is truly an indisposable place.

But we have a problem with single-use plastic and other throw-away stuff.

Even though the city has shown real leadership to address plastic pollution, most of the trash (70%) on our city streets comes from single-use food and beverage packaging. And 80% of ocean plastic pollution comes from land-based sources.

ReusableSF is a coallition of San Franciscans working to make single-use a thing of the past and make reusable the new normal.
